We are the biggest representative organisation for the Irish tech sector. Our mission is to support, promote and advocate on behalf of indigenous tech start-up and scaling companies of all stages, sizes and sectors and to create the most favourable conditions for them to succeed. The Scale Ireland 2024 State of Start-ups Survey provided a vital platform for founders and CEOs of Irish tech start-ups and scaling companies to share their views on key issues including fundraising, AI potential, state supports, diversity, sustainability and skill shortages. The feedback gathered plays a crucial role in our
work.

Some Key Findings
● 82% are deploying or preparing to deploy AI
● 83% believe AI will positively impact their business.
● 80% said it was difficult or very difficult to attract capital.
● 66.5% of companies lack a sustainability plan, similar to 2023
