Rena is the Founderof Chirp (Cilter), an award-winning technology startup developingchild-protection software for smartphones that detects/blocks cyberbullying,grooming and suicide/self-harm in encrypted messaging apps and browsers.

Rena won €2.8M grantto complete Chirp from the DTIF Fund and raised co-funding of €1.67m, one ofthe largest seed-raises of a sole female-founder.

Formerly CEO of theiRadio Group of stations, Rena went on to start her own successful businessesand remains an active startup investor. She writes a column for businesspublication The Currency and was appointed by the Minister for Finance to theCommission on Taxation and Welfare.
